- The International Research Institute of Disaster Science held the Great East Japan Earthquake watchers seminar and in a joint effort with Tohoku Medical Megabank Organization, Tohoku University School of Medicine and Tohoku University Hospital also held the international seminar where the Seven Members of 9/11 Family Association and Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai gave guest lectures.(Aug. 5, 2013)
